You’re BAD at marketing

Every problem in life can be fixed with good marketing. I don’t care what it is.

You give me any problem in your dealership, and it boils down to this: You’re bad at marketing.

That’s the issue.

Are you struggling to sell more new cars?

Want to create a trade-up event landing page?

Need to boost renewals?

Can’t find new customers in service?

It all comes back to marketing. It’s not enough to dabble in marketing; you must become a student of it.

If you come to my office, you’ll see books on marketing from floor to ceiling. I’ve spent my entire life studying this because I know that it makes everything I do in life more successful.

This was true when I was working in dealerships, and it still is today.

Good marketing will get you great friends, a great spouse, and lots of money.

Great marketing will teach you how to put your best foot forward, how to find the angle that keeps people interested, and how to crush any and any objections people have about whatever it is you’re selling — Chevrolets, Hondas, Hyundais, Land Rovers, Toyotas, etc…

It doesn’t matter what kind of market you’re in.

To solve any problem in your business, up your marketing game. Notice I didn’t say up your budget here?

That’s right, I’m not part of the group of people around you that will tell you more money will solve your problems.

I can tell you what will, though: proper actionable tactics.

I’m going to share car dealership marketing secrets that I’ve learned in the past 15 years. You can read them all in order or pick up the Autobahn Academy Car Dealership Marketing Black Book and start in the middle.

The chapters are super short, so you can read each secret, memorize it, and then apply it in your dealership.

I’ve categorized my secrets according to six marketing principles:

Becoming an Expert
• Sales
• Mindset

…but you aren’t breaking any rules if you read them out of order.

There’s only one rule. You have to promise that you will apply it as soon as possible.

Remember, almost everything in a dealership can be solved with good marketing!
